U.S. President Donald Trump is known for his love of golf. Even after returning to the White House, he often plays at a golf club under his name. According to Reuters report dated July 10th, England's star player Harry Kane, who is attending the 2026 World Cup in the US, confirmed that he has played golf with Trump. He described this experience as quite "fantastic".
Trump said earlier this week that he played golf with Kane, and praised the English captain as “both an outstanding player and a great golfer.” Kane confirmed Trump’s statement on the 10th, revealing that about 18 months ago, Trump had invited him to play at a golf course in Palm Beach, Florida.

Kane said, “To be honest, I played quite well. I was in Palm Beach at the time, and he invited me to play golf. It was a truly wonderful experience to meet the president himself and play golf with him. Truthfully, his golf skills are quite good. I hope that when I reach his age, I will also be able to play as well. It was a unique experience, and I am grateful for his invitation to play golf.”
Trump seems to have a great appreciation for Kane. On July 6th, Beijing time, after England defeated Mexico 3-2 and advanced to the quarterfinals, Trump posted on social media: "Harry Kane of England is a great player!"
Since the beginning of his second presidential term, Trump has never given up golf, often playing at clubs that are his own property. According to the American magazine Forbes, Trump owns 10 golf clubs in the United States, with estimated operating profits reaching $66 million in 2024.
