According to a report by the US Wall Street Journal on July 15, Vice President Williams recently stated during a podcast that there are people within the Israeli government trying to undermine negotiations between the United States and Iran, with the goal of prolonging the conflict indefinitely.

He said, “When I opened the Time magazine, I saw that someone was funding an act of interference by foreign forces, attempting to disrupt the negotiations I was pushing forward. By the way, many people who accepted money were attacking me in a completely false manner. My response to that was, ‘Fuck you.’”
But Vance also said that there are many people within the Israeli government who support the United States' peace efforts, and these people have realized that "an endless military campaign is not beneficial for them either."
