Didi stated that currently, the original video has been removed from the relevant platform in accordance with regulations. Didi reserves the right to take legal action regarding the serious consequences caused by the rumor. To clarify the facts and protect the interests of drivers, passengers, and the platform, the following statements are made:
Rumor 1: Female drivers receive orders related to "her plans", and they earn much less per order.
Facts: The fare for passengers and driver earnings for all “her plan” orders are calculated according to the current platform billing rules, regardless of whether they are “her plan” orders. There is no reduction in driver earnings or differential pricing for such orders.
Rumor 2: Female drivers cannot refuse orders related to "her plans"; refusing such orders may affect future order acceptance.
Facts: The participation and withdrawal of “she plans” follow the principle of voluntariness. Female drivers can choose whether to participate or not. The management rules for drivers who refuse orders are the same as those for all drivers on the platform.

Didi stated that the original intention of this product is to help female passengers in scenarios such as discomfort, late-night work, and remote locations find a more accurate match with female drivers. At the same time, it aims to create a more comfortable service environment for female drivers. The core concept is mutual willingness and the provision of personalized matching options.
Didi introduces that the feature allowing female passengers to choose female drivers is based on long-term feedback from drivers and passengers. It was launched after multiple surveys, public evaluations, open days, and gradual testing. The product was originally named "Female-Friendly Plan," and in May of this year, it was renamed "Her Plan." Every upgrade takes place under open and transparent oversight by drivers, passengers, and the public. According to surveys, female drivers who use this feature have a 12% higher satisfaction rate and a 14% increased sense of security compared to overall users on the platform.
According to the Didi app interface, after enabling the "Female Drivers Preferred" option in the preferences section, female drivers will be called first within 30 seconds. This feature is applicable for special express services, express cars, taxis, light-sharing services, and dedicated cars. If there are no available female drivers nearby, to avoid long waiting times, all drivers will be called after 30 seconds.

In August 2024, Didi announced a limited-testing of the feature where "female passengers can choose female drivers," which also sparked public controversy.
At that time, some female netizens expressed their support for this change, saying that it increased the safety of female passengers when taking taxis at night or in remote areas. However, some netizens believed that this feature had potential gender discrimination, increasing distrust in male drivers. Some questioned why only female passengers could choose female drivers, while male passengers had no opportunity to choose male drivers. Others were concerned about whether Didi could effectively supervise and manage this service, preventing malicious individuals from using female identities to target specific targets.
