US Military Injuries Rise as Tensions Flare with Iran

According to local media in North Carolina, USA, WRAL reported on July 17 that according to the latest data from the Pentagon, 13 more U.S. military personnel have been injured in combat against Iran since July 13.

The US Department of Defense’s National Defense casualty analysis system shows that these 13 people include 10 Army soldiers and 3 Navy sailors. The dates and locations of the injuries have not been announced.

The United States and Iran have been engaging in attacks on each other for several days. Tim Hawkins, a spokesman for the US Central Command, refused to disclose details of injuries or to specify which US bases or facilities were targeted in the latest clashes.

As of now, 14 Americans have died and 427 have been injured in this conflict. The U.S. Central Command previously stated that most of the wounded suffered from traumatic brain injuries.
