Trump: Iran Ready for Agreement Soon, Strait Not Needed

According to CBS, on July 22 local time, U.S. President Donald Trump said during a speech to supporters in Georgia that Iran is 'not ready' to reach an agreement, but will be ready 'soon'.

He called this war "a small skirmish."

They wanted to reach an agreement, Trump said when talking about Iran. "But I told them they weren't ready to reach an agreement yet. Because every time they reached an agreement, they would want to change it and everything else. They weren't ready. They were just going to be prepared soon."

On that day, Trump also said that the United States does not need the Hormuz Strait, as it already has a large amount of oil. "We don't need the strait; we don't need anything. We do this because we must do so, because we cannot allow Iran to have nuclear weapons."
