According to an interview with Israel Times on July 26th, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that the current conflict with Iran can only end when the Iranian regime changes or Iran realizes the need to end its nuclear program.

In an interview with Fox News in the United States, Netanyahu said that regardless of whether an agreement is reached, the Iranian nuclear program must be terminated. He stated that conflict will end only when Iran’s regime is overthrown or weakened to the point where it realizes the need to end the nuclear program.
He warned that if Iran or its supported armed groups attacked Israel, it would be “making a grave mistake,” and the response from the West would be “very, very strong.”
When talking about the upcoming meeting with US President Trump, Netanyahu said that the talks were not aimed at providing new information to the US, as both countries’ intelligence agencies currently maintain close cooperation. “It’s good to sit down and listen to the ideas of our dear friend President Trump,” he said. The two sides will discuss the situation in Iran, and he noted that “in many ways, this is a decision made by Trump.”
Besides, Netanyahu also stated that he plans to travel to New York in September to attend the United Nations General Assembly, and criticized New York City Mayor de Blasio for "inciting hatred against Jewish people."
Netanyahu accused Mamdani of “supporting Hamas murderers”, expressing his concern about the increasing number of Democrats who are close to “anti-Israel extremists”. He also said that some Democrats have been harassed by related activists, which has led them to change their stance.
