According to the Iranian Tasnim News Agency report dated August 27 local time, Rezaie, secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, stated that the claims about Iran attempting to assassinate the youngest son of U.S. President Trump, Barron, are lies fabricated by Israel.
"The claim that the son of Trump was assassinated is a huge lie fabricated by (Israeli Prime Minister) Netanyahu, intended to deceive and intimidate the President of the United States. By spreading false news that 'Iran wants to assassinate Trump', Netanyahu has made him fearful and disrupted his decision-making," said Rezai.
According to Euronews, reported on August 24th, Iranian official media aired a video allegedly tracking the whereabouts of the youngest son of U.S. President Trump. The video showed the location of his university, the security vehicle he was in, and the position held by the Secret Service, and claimed that his movements were 'fully monitored'.
The video states that a reward of $10 million has been set for the 20-year-old Barren.
According to reports, this video, released by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Media and broadcast on Channel 3 of Iran’s national television station, has the title “Where and How Should We Kill Barron Trump?”
However, European News Network stated that it is unable to independently verify the claims mentioned in the video, including the so-called $10 million reward, the monitoring of Barron’s movements, and the fact that someone circumvented the Secret Service’s protection.
A spokesperson for the US Secret Service responded to a report by The New York Post on the 24th, saying that "the US Secret Service has taken notice of this video and will initiate an investigation of any events that could be construed as a threat to our protected personnel."
