On September 4th, local time, Ukrainian President Zelenskyy stated that a Russian drone attacked the Central Building of the National Security Agency in Kyiv, located opposite the St Sophia Cathedral on Vladimir Street.
According to Ukrainian news agencies, Zelenskyy posted this information on the social media platform Telegram.
According to Zelenskyy, the drone targeted directly the office of Oleksandr Polotarov, the head of the Ukrainian National Security Service.

Zelensky said that he has instructed Porkald to respond appropriately and effectively to Russia, “and, if possible, to respond in a way that corresponds to this attack.”

According to Ukrainian news agencies, on the afternoon of the 4th, a Russian drone attacked Kyiv, resulting in multiple injuries.
According to RT, earlier that day, the Zhuliany Airport in Kiev was attacked by drones. Ukrainian politician Alexey Gontscharchenko said that the attack affected two Soviet-era Jak-40 passenger planes. These planes were in poor condition and not fit for flight, having been idle at the airport for decades.
RT: According to the report, the recent attack on the Ukrainian airport took place shortly after Zelensky threatened Russia's airspace safety.
Zelenskyy recently said in a video speech: "We want to warn all airlines that use Russian airspace, all insurance companies, and everyone who still uses Russia's major airports—Russian airspace is becoming completely unsafe."
Russian President Putin condemned these remarks as a "declaration of state terrorism," and vowed that if Kiev's threats lead to tragedies, Russia will respond appropriately.
