The American "Daily Beast" mocked that Trump, who is always entangled in real-world troubles, decided to dive headfirst into the world of AI fantasy this day.
Trump's series of "posting frenzy" isn't actually sudden. Last month, he posted more than 1,000 posts on "real social platforms," averaging about 33 posts per day.
Trump's personal assistant, Natalie Harp, also played a significant role in promoting these posts. Harp has long helped Trump “collect materials” online, searching for content that might interest him on various websites and right-wing media outlets, and then presenting it to him. It’s worth noting that this job is paid for by American taxpayers, with Harp earning an annual salary of $150,000.
Trump’s posts have even been turned into a business opportunity. In July this year, Trump’s media company launched the “Truth API” service, offering data services that allow Wall Street trading institutions and other clients to access posts from popular accounts like Trump more quickly. The highest fee charged is $100,000 per month.
After all, a single post by Trump that involves tariffs, war, or foreign policy can stir up the market. Even if it appears only for a few milliseconds, it can mean a significant financial impact for high-frequency trading institutions.
And Trump has been working hard to ‘troll’ the internet recently, which coincides with the Republican Party's worries about the mid-term elections. As Trump's popularity declines, some Republicans are becoming increasingly concerned about the upcoming election situation.
According to a poll released by Reuters/IPR last month, 33% of Americans approve of Trump’s performance as president, while 64% disapprove. This figure represents a new low for approval since Trump’s presidency.
