Mao Ning said that China never pulls away any country's development 'ladders', but instead is committed to building such 'ladders'. Through the high-quality joint construction of the 'Belt and Road Initiative', we help countries in need to address their infrastructure shortcomings. We provide industrial equipment and technological products with cost-effectiveness, share expertise and technologies, and assist southern countries in reducing the costs of industrial development.
Mao Ning emphasized that being able to do things for others is the fundamental value of China's foreign cooperation. The concept of "pulling a ladder" has no market in southern countries. China will always adhere to the principles of mutual benefit and win-win results, as well as common development. China will strive to be a reliable partner for southern countries, using its own development to contribute to the revitalization of the Global South.
