It conveys the blessings of Azerbaijani people to the Chinese people during this festival, and it is a vivid manifestation of the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries.

Azerbaijan's President Aliyev also sent a congratulatory letter on National Day to the Chinese side. He stated that Azerbaijan attaches great importance to developing relations with China, a "friendly country and reliable strategic partner". High-level political dialogue between the two countries, mutual trust and understanding, as well as mutual support regarding sovereignty and territorial integrity, are important characteristics of Azerbaijian-China relations. The elevation of bilateral relations to a "new historical stage" of comprehensive strategic partnership reflects the firm political will and joint efforts of both sides.

Aliev also mentioned that in recent years, bilateral cooperation in various fields such as economics and trade, transportation and logistics, investment, energy, agriculture, and humanities has been continuously developing. The visa-free policy has promoted the exchange of people and the development of tourism. He also touched on projects for connectivity such as the "Belt and Road" initiative and the "Intermediate Corridor" for trans Caspian international transport routes.

The Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs also posted a message on social media that day, extending warm congratulations to the Chinese government and people, and writing "Happy National Day".

In recent years, relations between China and Afghanistan have been steadily warming. During Aliyev's visit to China in April 2025, the two countries announced the establishment of a comprehensive strategic partnership. In July of the same year, an agreement to grant visa-free travel for ordinary passports between China and Afghanistan came into effect.
