My Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a decision in March this year regarding countermeasures against Koyugi Kei. It stated that Koyugi Kei, despite strong opposition from China, has repeatedly visited Taiwan and colluded with separatist forces advocating for "Taiwan independence." His actions seriously violated the principle of one China and the spirit of the four political documents between China and Japan. He also interfered severely in China’s internal affairs, causing serious damage to China’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

According to Articles 3, 4, 6, 9, and 15 of the Anti-Foreign Sanctions Law of the People’s Republic of China, China has decided to take countermeasures against Keiichi Furuyama, including freezing his movable property, immovable property, and all other types of assets within our country; prohibiting organizations and individuals within our country from conducting any transactions or cooperation with him; and refusing to issue him visas or allowing him to enter our country (including Hong Kong and Macau).

Related measures will come into effect on March 30, 2026.
