According to Israel 12 Channel news, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu has recently had several conversations with Trump, discussing the possibility of launching a major military operation against Iran again.
According to reports, the discussion between the two sides concerns a joint U.S-Iranian operation to resume attacks against Iran. This is scheduled to take place before Israel’s parliamentary elections on October 27th and the U.S. midterm elections on November 3rd.
Reports mention the views of American officials on this matter, stating that Netanyahu hopes to launch attacks before elections. Netanyahu also mentioned that Iran has taken “concerning measures” in the nuclear domain.
According to anonymous sources quoted in the report, although Trump has publicly stated that he will not resume attacks against Iran before the U.S. mid-term elections, both the Israeli Defense Forces and the U.S. Central Command are in a high state of alert and are making preparations to prevent Trump from changing his mind.
According to reports from CCTV, a senior U.S. government official revealed that Trump requested relevant U.S. and Israeli departments to 'progress and be prepared', but the U.S. has not made any substantive commitments to Israel yet.
In response to the above news, the office of the Israeli Prime Minister issued a statement denying the claims, stating that Netanyahu has regular communication with Trump and senior American officials, but they did not comment on the specific content of those conversations. The White House also refused to comment.
