The statement says that during its voyage, the oil tanker turned off all navigation and positioning systems, and ignored Iranian regulations, attempting to cross the Strait of Hormuz via an “unauthorized” route in the southern part of the strait.
The Iranian Revolutionary Guard emphasized that they will take "strict and decisive measures" against any vessels that shut down their navigation and identification systems while navigating through the Hormuz Strait or the Persian Gulf.
