According to a video released by the American political news website RealClearPolitics on October 27th, U.S. President Donald Trump made comments about the riots in France during a campaign rally in Corpus Christi, Texas on Tuesday.
Trump said, “Regarding the $5,000 ‘Trump Dividend’, my only request of you is that if you get married, you both can receive $10,000. The only thing I ask you to do is not to spend your money in France when you go on vacation and consume. France is a beautiful place.”
Trump continued, "Unless you like revolutions, don’t go to France. You might be better off watching 'Les Misérables', which also tells stories about the French people. In fact, I think the French are really good at starting revolutions, right?"
