Khamenei Orders Prompt Military Response to Any Aggression

According to Iranian state media agency IRNA, on October 31, the supreme leader of Iran, Ali Khamenei, ordered that Iranian senior military commanders should respond promptly and effectively to any new aggression against the country, without regard to geographical boundaries.

Reports indicate that Mujettaba issued this order during a meeting with a senior Iranian military commander.

During the meeting, Mujetta emphasized that it is fundamental to be fully prepared for a strong confrontation with the enemy in order to achieve maximum deterrence. He ordered that any level or type of threat must be responded to immediately with effective, prompt measures, regardless of location.

Mujebata stated that if Iran's enemies resume military or terrorist attacks, the Iranian armed forces and the Iranian people will decide when and under what conditions to cease the war.

He further emphasized the need to strengthen the military intelligence system, deepen the domestic defense capabilities in terms of ‘theory’ and ‘tactics’, and enhance modernization of defense and security capabilities through the use of emerging technologies. He also pointed out that it is necessary to strengthen the spiritual foundation and the spirit of jihad, while making unremitting efforts to meet the living needs of armed forces personnel and providing them with necessary support.

In another directive, Mujetta ordered a comprehensive update of the military target database, ensuring that all tangible and intangible assets of the American and Israeli enemies were under the control of the armed forces.

Mu Jietabā also expressed praise for the wisdom and firm resolve demonstrated by various countries' "resistance lines."

He pointed out that ‘unity in the field of action’ is a key factor in shaping a new political and security order in West Asia, and it has strategic significance. He also expressed the hope that this new order will lay a solid foundation for unity among governments of Muslim countries, as well as for the formation of a new Islamic civilization.
