17 Countries Join Call to Lift Sanctions on Iran

According to Russian satellite news agency's report on the 16th, according to British statements, 17 countries have joined France, Italy, the UK, and Germany in a joint statement regarding the possibility of lifting sanctions against Iran, in response to Iran's actions related to its nuclear program.

Italy, France, Germany, and the UK issued a joint statement expressing their willingness to lift sanctions against Iran after an agreement is reached between the United States and Iran. The four countries welcomed the Memorandum of Understanding between the United States and Iran and stated their willingness to cooperate with the United States, Iran, and the International Atomic Energy Agency to ensure that Iran does not acquire nuclear weapons. In response to Iran's clear and credible steps in this direction, the four countries are prepared to lift sanctions against Iran.

According to the list of countries that signed the statement published by Downing Street, other countries that expressed their willingness to lift sanctions include: Japan, Canada, Australia, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Dominican Republic, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Latvia, Poland, and Portugal.
