Typhoon Haishen Forms Over Northwest Pacific

According to the information on the website of the Central Meteorological Observatory, the 11th typhoon of this year, “Haishen” (a tropical storm; English name: Haishen; origin of the name: Chinese; meaning: the god of the sea in mythology), formed over the northwestern Pacific Ocean today (the 13th). At 8 o’clock, its center was located about 930 kilometers to the southwest of Guam. The maximum wind force near the center was level 8 (18 meters per second), and the lowest pressure at the center was 998 hectopascals.

It is expected that the 'Sea God' will move slowly towards the northwest at a speed of 5-10 kilometers per hour, with little change in its intensity. In the future, the 'Sea God' will have no impact on our coastal waters.
