Sotheby’s revealed that a total of 45 buyers participated in the bidding for this leather jacket. Sotheby’s Director of Modern Collectibles, Vahter, stated that this piece of clothing is “deeply associated with the iconic leaders of the AI era, and has special collectible value.”
The proceeds from this auction will be donated entirely to the non-profit organization Edge Institute. This organization is dedicated to promoting English teaching and providing professionals in the industry with knowledge related to Western business systems and educational models.

According to the introduction, this leather jacket was made by the luxury brand Tom Ford, and it features a handwritten signature from Jack Huang.
Sotheby's previously estimated the transaction price to be between $40,000 and $60,000 (approximately 272,000 to 408,000 RMB). The final transaction price reached 16 times the initial estimated price.
