According to Tasgha news agency reports dated July 26 local time, Iran's Foreign Minister Alaaghiari said that Iran does not view neighboring Middle Eastern countries as enemies, and its actions are completely directed at the United States.
Reports say that in an interview with Iranian newspapers and media, he stated: “At the regional level, it is generally believed that the actions taken by Iran are not driven by hostility towards the countries in the region, but rather by other reasons that are understood and recognized by all parties.”
He pointed out that after the conflict ends, Tehran intends to engage in dialogue with neighboring countries and ‘restore trust’.
Previously, on July 22nd local time, Alaghazi posted on social media stating that Iran's defensive principles are very clear: an eye for an eye.
He wrote: "Any aggression against Iran, including attacks on our infrastructure, will lead to a strong and decisive response."
He emphasized that those who provide support for such aggressive actions, regardless of the kind of support provided, will be considered legitimate targets for attack.
