He is also accused of abusing his power and hindering others from exercising their rights. As a result, the number of cases Yoon Suk-yeol is currently facing has increased to eight.
This is the first public prosecution in China's case involving Yinxíyuet, the deputy head of a state security unit. Meanwhile, the special investigation team has filed charges against Shen Yunshi, former head of the National Security Bureau, for "alleged involvement in key internal unrest tasks" and "misuse of authority that hinders others from exercising their rights."

According to the Independent Investigation Team, Yin Xiyue is suspected of issuing an emergency martial law order on the evening of December 3, 2024. Subsequently, he instructed Shen Yuanmin to convey information to allies such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Japan, and the European Union, stating that the martial law measures he implemented were justified. Shen Yuanmin followed Yin Xiyue’s instructions and asked the personnel of the aforementioned departments to carry out tasks beyond their scope of responsibility.
Currently, including this case, Yin Xiyue has a total of 9 cases under investigation. Among them, he was sentenced to 7 years in prison by the Supreme Court on July 9, 2026, for suspected interference with the arrest process. The sentence has now taken effect, and Yin Xiyue is serving his sentence.
