According to a report by Russian Satellite News Agency on November 1st, Russian President's Assistant Yuri Ushakov said on that day that Russian President Putin has never refused dialogue. If Ukrainian President Zelenskyy calls, he will of course answer the call.
Ushakov replied to related questions by saying, "I think he would definitely answer the call. Putin has never refused a conversation."
Ushakov also pointed out that if Zelenskyy wants to talk with Putin, he can come to Moscow. Previously, Zelenskyy has been sending signals of his willingness to engage in dialogue through various channels.
Recently, Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov said during a meeting of the G20 foreign ministers in Atlanta, USA that talks between Russia, the United States, and Ukraine “will take place”, but he emphasized that Russia’s position on the Russia-Ukraine conflict has never changed.
Zelenskyy previously stated that the tripartite talks were scheduled to take place in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, in the first half of November.
