On the 21st, in Birsdorf, Switzerland, an Iranian negotiating delegation entered the negotiation venue.

According to Iranian sources, after 80 minutes of negotiations, the Iran-US talks, held with the participation of Pakistan and Qatar as mediators, were temporarily suspended for rest and internal consultations. It is reported that the issue of Iran's nuclear program was not discussed during the first round of talks. This round of negotiations focused on implementing Article 13 of the memorandum of understanding, with priority given to issues related to Lebanon.

According to sources in Qatar, the first round of talks focused on the Lebanese issue. Next, discussions will revolve around the Gulf of Hormuz issue. The third round of talks will address Iran's nuclear issues and sanctions concerns. The delegations will continue with today’s negotiations.

On the 21st local time, a reporter from the general news agency learned that according to Iranian sources, a member of the Iranian negotiation team revealed that the draft document regarding the exemption from Iranian oil sanctions has been finalized, and added that the exemption will be announced soon. The administrative procedures for unfreezing Iranian frozen funds are being carried out with the participation of the Qatar delegation.
