Lin Jian stated that we express serious concerns regarding Japans efforts to strengthen cooperation with NATO. Japan is aggressively pursuing measures to reinstate military capabilities, engaging frequently with overseas military organizations, and expanding the activities of its Self-Defense Forces. This undermines Japans adherence to its constitution, international laws, and domestic regulations, as well as principles such as defensive defense. It challenges the post-war international order and goes against Japans self-proclaimed image of being a peaceful nation.
Japans new form of militarism is a threat to regional peace and stability. The international community must be highly vigilant and take decisive measures to contain this threat. Lin Jian emphasized.
