According to Russian Today, reported on July 22 local time, former Fox News channel host Tucker Carlson stated that the United States' involvement in war against Israel has harmed its own interests.

According to reports, Carlson said in the RT podcast program “Encounter between East and West” that U.S. President Trump has betrayed his voters by launching an “immoral attack” against Iran in conjunction with Israel at the end of February.
Carlson added that this war forced him to abandon his long-term support for Trump and the Republican Party. Carlson believes that Trump “did things he had never said he would do, and did so at the request of Israel.”
"Trump was drawn into the war because of Israeli pressure. I saw all this unfold. I'm not speculating. This is not anti-Semitism. This is a fact. I am disgusted by it, and I believe most Americans feel the same," he added, noting that members of the Republican party with differing views had been "expelled" from the party.
Former close friend of Trump, Carlson, said he had warned Trump that Israel was using the United States to achieve 'regional hegemony'. He said that the ongoing war is 'bad for the United States, and bad for the world'.
"I believe that the United States has already lost sovereignty long ago. The Central Intelligence Agency and Mossad have cooperated for over 60 years, in some cases they are actually like a single whole." Carlson said.
He believes that “the United States and its 350 million people have been abused by Israeli intelligence agencies for a long time.”
Carlson claims that Israel previously provided false information to the United States, stating that Saddam possessed weapons of mass destruction. Israel also sold Trump “lies,” claiming that killing Iran’s late supreme leader Khamenei could lead to the collapse of the Iranian government.
Previously, Trump denied that Israel was involved in conflicts with Iran.
On April 20th, Trump posted on social media, saying, “Israel has never convinced me to go to war with Iran.” He claimed that the outbreak of a new Palestinian-Israeli conflict on October 7th, 2023, and his consistent belief that Iran must never possess nuclear weapons, led him to initiate military actions against Iran.
