Indian Border Guards Shoot and Kill Two Pakistani Civilians

According to Reuters, on October 2nd, a source in the Pakistani security department said that on that day, Indian border guards shot and killed two Pakistani civilians near the India-Pakistan border in the Kausar area of Punjab Province in eastern Pakistan, and injured another Pakistani civilian.

According to a report by the Associated Press citing a Pakistani television station, a source from the Pakistani security department said that three unarmed civilians from the Kasur area crossed the border markers a few steps away, and then Indian border guards opened fire.

India has not responded immediately, but Indian media reports claim that these individuals are suspected of attempting to enter India.
