Musk has recommended Chinese tours multiple times.

In August this year, Musk responded to a post on the X platform by saying, "China is amazing. I strongly encourage everyone to go there and see for themselves."

Subsequently, Musk's mother Mei Ye Musk agreed with this.

"I agree," Meyer Musk retweeted Musk's post and wrote, "Each city has its own charm, with different cultural landmarks for sightseeing. The buildings and streets are clean and well maintained. Moreover, people are polite, diligent, and respectful of others."

She said after enumerating many charms of China: "I feel safe and therefore I enjoy going to China."
